Thank you for your interest in registering for the Philadelphia Area Tennis District (PATD) Gold Cup program! Gold Cup is PATD's exclusive, low-cost junior tennis program serving Beginner / Intermediate, Intermediate, and Advanced level junior athletes in the Philadelphia area. The program's purpose is to prepare young athletes for match play in their Junior or Senior High School tennis teams and to promote Tournament-level play. The Gold Cup program is a landmark PATD program, supported by USTA Middle States for more than 65 years.

Deadline: Your application should be received no later than end of day Tuesday, December 1, 2026. Venue assignments are generally first come, first serve.

Gold Cup will begin the weekend of December 11, 2026. The season consists of eight (8) weeks of 2-hour sessions.

LEVEL OF PLAY
Level of Play: Please check one. (If you are unsure, please select the lower skill level, or ask one of our coaches for an evaluation.)

Intermediate (typically ages 11-14): For players who can rally, serve and keep correct scoring and have some match-play experience. Player understands basic court positioning, and participates in singles / doubles match play. Player may have limited competitive experience but is ready to advance to school team opportunities or compete in entry-level tournaments. Players may use green or yellow ball depending on age and experience. Older teens who are not yet at the Advanced level are absolutely appropriate for this group.Advanced (typically ages 13+): For experienced competitive players who rally consistently with well-developed skills in using spin, pace, depth, height and direction, and who may regularly compete in USTA tournaments, Junior Team Tennis, and/or on a school team. Placement in this group will be based on playing level and will include UTR / WTN numbers and/or video review. This level uses yellow ball only.

IMPORTANT: Note your club choice below and also mark your second and third choices. PATD will do its best to honor your choice of host club. Please note any special situations (attend same sessions as friends or siblings), but we cannot make guarantees.
- For clubs with indicated #, coaches may assign players to either Saturday or Sunday, depending upon skill set, so players should be available to play either day.
- Gold Cup practices are not scheduled on MLK weekend or on President's / Super Bowl weekend. However, they may be used as poor weather make up dates, at the discretion of the coaches.

In the event of injury, or any other mishap, no person(s) or facility associated with the program, either directly or indirectly, will be held responsible.
